Yiddish Club - First Meeting!
Thanks Luba Zeifman -
Program Incubator Pick for making this happen!
Join us this Wednesday, Feb. 1st at 8pm in the back glass room of Coffee Tree Roasters in Shadyside.
After much wait and anticipation, the first Yiddish club meeting is finally taking place! We'll be reading a couple Yiddish stories (translated into English) as an appetizer before meeting on Wednesday. If you're interested in joining us and would like to take a look at the stories, please e-mail Sara
here. She'll send them to you!
The main course, i.e. learning Yiddish, will follow soon together with klezmer music nights for dessert in future meetings.
Bring your ideas and excitement, and let's work out a plan for how we can learn Yiddish, do Yiddish cultural events together, and have fun!
If you'd like to RSVP, please e-mail Luba
here!
